What types of baked goods do you offer?

We offer a wide range of baked goods, including cookies, brownies, muffins, cakes, loaf breads, and granola.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

In order for us to bake your items to perfection, we recommend placing your order at least 48 hours in advance. For large orders, please give us at least one week’s notice.

Where do you deliver, and what is your delivery fee?

We deliver for free within the Riverdale, Bronx area. We deliver to the rest of New York City, and to Yonkers and Westchester, for a fee of $10 (Manattan, Yonkers, Westchester) or $15 (Brooklyn & Queens). If your order is $200 or more, delivery is free.

Do you offer shipping?

At the moment, we do not offer shipping. We will eventually start shipping within New York State.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

At the moment, we do not make substitutions in our baked goods. But stay tuned for substitution availability, as well as some vegan and gluten free treats.

What does it mean that you are a home-based bakery?

The Sweet Note is a home-based bakery that operates under the New York State Cottage Food Law. We are a registered Home Processor with the New York State Department of Agriculture. Despite being a home-based business, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness, adhering to the guidelines of the city and state of New York for home-based food businesses.

What kind of ingredients do you use in your treats? Do you use mixes?

Accepted Answer

I use high quality ingredients, and avoid using anything that I wouldn't feel comfortable feeding my own family. Every treat is completely homemade — I don't use mixes, preservatives, or artificial additives.
